- Non-profit NJ Educational Org, 501(c)3 status, operating an annual Heritage Festival: Scandinavian Fest, Inc. (www,ScanFest,org) to celebrate and promote the cultures, contributions, current life of the Nordic/Scandinavian peoples. Annual, 1-day event with food, arts/gifts.crafts, entertainment, folkdress, folkmusic, kids events, demonstrating artisans, reenactors, educ. talks, lots more..... always on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Sept 5 in 2010.
WE SEEK someone or group to independently organize, head up, set-up, and conduct sponsorship & fundraising program on a part time, independent, contracted basis. We can provide many potential leads to relevant non- and for-profit organizations. YOU provide the skill and initiative to allow us to find corporate and grant $$ to help us expand the reach and offerings. For 26 years, we've been totally self-supporting with gate admission and vendor fees. To expand for more outreach and a broader program, we need sponsorship support.
ScanFest is NOT a fundraiser for nor an affiliate of any other organization.
