Justin is now 7 y/o; and although he (according to the doctors tests), 'has the mind of a 4 y/o'

he really is so much fun.  He loves to be chased and tries to engage my hubby, myself or his 3 y/o

sister in a good run and can usually outrun any one of us; although his speech and severe G.I. issues make his world something to 'meltdown' about, overall our Justin is a happy go lucky little boy with limited speech, and a mama's boy.

I feel terrible when I hear other mothers of Autistic boys tell me how their child shows them no emotion.  Justin is very affectionate with mommy and evidently girls/women with long hair, lol; he loves long hair,

at times if I'm not fast enough, we will be in a doctors' office waiting area and he dashes toward a complete stranger (female) with long hair, so he can either touch her hair or let it touch his face; it's funny but quite uncomfortable especially if it's someone who cares very little what special needs your child has and doesn't want to be bothered.

He does experience meltdowns with what I call 'scary movie' type screaming spontaneously, at times for no reason, sometimes because he is frustrated.....then there are other times when he starts laughing so hysterically that it becomes Contagious!
