I work for a non profit organization and I wold like some ideas on fund raiser. We do not have alot of money.

I think this would be a good fundraiser, for your organization and its fun for everyone. Fast way to raise any amount of money.
"Scratch and Help" fundraiser. You make a 80% profit immediately and on first time orders there is a 10% free booklets.
How it works: Your group orders a certain amount of "Scratch and Help"fundraiser booklets(which can be personalized with your group or organizations Name & Logo,also booklets come in red, blue green & purple)any where from 10 to 100.
Each booklet has 50 scratch off bubbles and 50 coupon sheets worth $50 for stores in your area(these will be personalized as well to your state) You can go door to door, set up a booth and we all know about 25 people you could ask, anyway you figure.
Fun thing is its like a lottery ticket, people scratch off 1 of more bubles and underneath reveals an amount of money stating $.50 to $3.00. That would be the amount one would donate.
In return for donating that person would receive a coupon sheet, for discounts to stores in your area.
When one booklet is finished you would have earned $100.00. Since the price of the booklet is $20 you would have made $80 profit.
This truely is a great fundraiser and it has been around for 15yrs now and is registered with the better bureau business.

We do 3 types of Fundraisers. My favorite being Family Game Night. Everyone gets together and plays games. You recieve 25% of all puchases made that night. Anyone who cannot attend can still make a purchase from a special website created just for your fundraiser. (It costs your org. nothing.)

eBay has just launched a new software called MyShoppingGenie that is excellent for fundraising purposes! Last year I found an amazing resource that eliminates a lot of the work in our Fundraisers to give us extra time in raising awareness for our organization. There is a site called http://www.FundRaisingPrintStore.com that gives you your own online print shop to load printed items (business cards, flyers, postcards) that our non-profit organization needed already. You could order, customize anything on their store, they would handle the printing/shipping, and we would get back 15% commission on all orders through the site!
They paid us quickly, and it was so easy to setup with almost no cost!
I would highly recommend this if you are looking for an easy fundraising idea.

We have used with much success a company called shoptoearn where you purchase a web site for your organization and members/supporters shop at over 600 already shopped at stores and your organization receives a percentage on every purchase. Our newest organization is the Crohn's and Colitis foundation. The advantage to this is that supporters are not required to purchase a certain product (like Christmas wrapping paper) but continue with their normal online shopping habits and the organization will receive 1%-20% cash back deposited directly into their organization’s checking account. So simple and advantageous.
