Successful Fundraisers?
My name is Angela Daubert and I am a student at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. We are currently planning our first international service trip to Honduras and we are looking for fundraising ideas to help us with the cost of travel and other expenses. Hi Angela - our church did a similar trip to Haiti -Four our fundraiser we prepared "ready to bake" pizzas for our supporters. We presold all the pizzas, then we had a big party where we rolled out the dough, and applied the toppings, sauce, cheese etc. A local bakery donated the dough and freezer space. It was very successful.

Try Gas and Grocery certificates. Most of my schools have raised well over $10,000 in 2 weeks. One school raised over $20,000. It is nice because everyone is a winner with this. They give a donation to you and inturn they get to save $600 on their gas and Grocery bills, just for sending in their receipts to our company. Go to www.bondpromos-fundraising.com to lean more. Our church has been participating in some fundraisers to raise money for students to go on trips. Some of the most successful ones we have done have been bowling nights (a local bowling alley will allow us to have the place for 2 hours and we charge $15 for 2 hours of bowling, we get to keep half and the bowling alley gets the other). Recently we have been working with Bergner's department stores for their community day event (you sell their coupon books for $5 and you get to keep all $5). I know schools around here have students sell from those books with all kinds of items in them Wrapping Paper, Chocolate, Christmas gifts, Flashlightz, and all other kinds of randomness. I'm sure you could find something like that as well. Good luck.
